Details & specifications
External plugs are based on the "rapid plug and unplug technology" that simplifies and speeds up the machining of the seats such as with regard to assembly and disassembly procedures of mold cooling components.
Safety against pressure is guaranteed up to 100 bar, sealing is performed with a FKM O-ring.
Special compounds are available for applications where standard FKMs haves limited performance.
We advise to use "set F" plugs whenever the required tolerance (0/+0,1 mm) of the cooling channel is met and the surface quality is good sufficient enough to guarantee the sealing of the O-ring sealing.
