WEMA Beheizungstechnik GmbH was founded in 1971 as a subsidiary of EOC Normalien GmbH & Co. KG in Lüdenscheid, growing out of the existing Bittern GbR. When EOC Normalien GmbH & Co. KG was sold several times in 1994, the partners parted ways and WEMA Beheizungstechnik GmbH became an independent company. Today's WEMA GmbH employs around 55 people in Lüdenscheid and is a second-generation, owner-managed company.
Our core products in the field of industrial heating elements are mica- and ceramic-insulated resistance heating elements. Heating-cooling combinations for extruders are a particular focus — here we serve as a system supplier to renowned machinery manufacturers. Heating cartridges and thermocouples are available in numerous designs. The flexible ISOWEMA® insulation sleeves help our customers save energy and improve contact protection. A second business area is dedicated to the development and distribution of innovative components for tool and mould making.
Based on your drawings or technical specifications, we design with current CAD programs and provide 3D data in STEP format on request. Our digital configuration program VIKO® enables you to design the heating elements you need online — including a technical feasibility check, price calculation and ordering function.
With a modern machinery park we manufacture the heating element windings, clamping bands, housing jackets and pressure plates. A dedicated team of skilled professionals handles the manual assembly and inspection. Modern warehousing and packaging technologies are available to our shipping department; larger volumes are sent via reputable forwarders — also according to your specifications.
Our company is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. Every product undergoes a 100 % electrical final test.
We train in the following professions: industrial business management clerk, warehouse logistics specialist, machine and plant operator, and technical product designer.
