AH 230 Band heaters, cast aluminium or brass

Application areas:

Heating of cylindrical tools, extrusion cylinders and for other industrial heating applications.

Construction:

Electrical tubular heating element cast in aluminium.
The contact surface is mechanically machined for good heat transfer.
Cylinder heating elements are made in half-shells whereby the fixing is made with clamping bands or cast clamping brackets.
Cast aluminium heating elements are particularly suitable for locations in which moisture or condensate cannot be excluded, or in areas in which severe mechanical loading (e.g. caused by frequent assembly and disassembly) is present. They guarantee an even heat distribution.

Also available with cooling fins for air cooling of extrusion cylinders, or with built in cooling tubes for water or oil.

• Electrical power supply via contact fittings (plug) up to 16 A/250 V, cable terminal boxes with ceramic terminal block or permanently fixed connection-cable.
