Electrical tubular heating element cast in aluminium or brass. The contact surface is machined for good heat transfer.
Fixing using cast clamping bracket or with bores for fixing screws.
Cast aluminium / brass heating elements are particularly suitable for locations in which moisture or condensate cannot be excluded, or in areas in which severe mechanical loading (e.g. caused by frequent assembly and disassembly) is present. They guarantee an even heat distribution.
Can also be supplied with built in cooling tubes using water or oil.
Application areas:
Heating of tools and moulds in plastic processing machines, especially on rectangular or square compounding extruder cylinders.
