ZH 205 Band heaters, micanite-insulated

Application areas:

Heating of cylindrical tools, flanges, plastification cylinders and for other industrial heating applications.

Construction:

Heating element wire in special MICANITE insulation, mounted in tinned sheet steel, with fixing strap in aluminised sheet steel (stainless steel on request).

Implementation types:

Spreadable version with screw tab closure. Half shells or segments can be supplied. Can be supplied with bores, thermal brackets and notches as far as technically possible.

• Electrical power supply via contact fittings (plug) up to 16 A/250 V, cable terminal boxes with ceramic terminal block or permanently fixed connection-cable.
• Can also be supplied with brass heat-conducting plate.

Unless otherwise specified, our heating elements are rated IP30.
Special versions with a higher degree of protection can be manufactured upon request.

* Higher heating outputs with a surface load exceeding 3,5 W/cm² and up to a maximum of 5 W/cm² can be individually evaluated by our engineering department and approved if applicable.
